1. Goku and Vegeta (Dragon Ball series)

Restaurant of choice:  An all-you-can-eat buffet. Conversation topic: Power levels and why they're never accurate. Who pays? Goku, after losing a rock-paper-scissors game. Vegeta's smirk is priceless.

2. Naruto and Sasuke (Naruto series)

Restaurant of choice: Ramen shop. Conversation topic: Sharingan contacts for cosplay. Are they overrated? Who pays? Naruto. Sasuke says he left his wallet in another dimension.

3. Edward and Alphonse (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Restaurant of choice: A classic European bistro, giving vibes of Amestris. Conversation topic: The ethics of transmuting dinner and why milk is the worst drink. Who pays? Edward insists, but he's a bit short (don't tell him I said that) on cash.

Restaurant of choice: A rugged outdoor BBQ joint with a view of the stars. Conversation topic: Drills, sunglasses, and the best ways to break through the heavens. Who pays? Kamina, with a bold proclamation. Simon quietly leaves an extra tip.

Restaurant of choice: A clean, polished, military mess hall-esque place. Conversation topic: Best cleaning products and the mysteries of the basement. Who pays? Levi, after critiquing Eren’s table manners.

Restaurant of choice: Sports bar serving grilled meat and protein shakes. Conversation topic: Volleyball tactics and why the ball is just so darn hard to control sometimes. Who pays? They split it, after a brief argument. Kageyama says Hinata’s portion should be cheaper since he’s shorter.

Restaurant of choice: Sophisticated sushi place with existential overtones. Conversation topic: Why piloting giant robots is overrated. Who pays? Kaworu. Shinji hesitates for too long.

10. Light and L (Death Note)

Restaurant of choice: Minimalist, modern cafe serving only desserts  Conversation topic: Best brands of notebooks. Not those notebooks. Totally normal ones. Who pays? Light, insisting it's a gesture of goodwill. L takes a contemplative bite of his cake, ever suspicious.
